            Dear Students,

                     At this time of year we celebrate special occasions:
            Mother's Day, Father's Day, Reception of special sacraments:
            First Communion and Confirmation, and finally we will celebrate
            Graduations from Kindergarten and Grade 8.

                     In the midst of all these happy events, we have also
            rejoiced in the coming of the Holy Spirit at Pentecost. It
            is my hope and prayer that we are trying to live out the Gifts
            the Holy Spirit bestows on us. As we read in St. Paul's letter
            to the Galatians, the Gifts the Spirit gives are:

Love                                     Joy                                     Peace                                     Patience                                     Kindness                                     Goodness                                     Trustfulness                                     Gentleness and                                     Self-control
